Behavior on my site.
BillieWinterholer.com is a private site for the promotion of the works of myself (Billie Winterholer). I may also present opinions and ideas through blog posts, various media, and web links. I realize some people coming here may not care for my opinions or ideas, or the knowledge I am transgender, a member of the LGBTQAI+ community, which I will refer to as “community” on this site.
I have faced critics on social media, while advertising, or in real life and don’t care to do so here. Everyone is welcome to comment if they wish, but comments posted for the sole purpose of making mine or other’s lives miserable are not welcome.
Being a professional business site, I expect to see a diversity of visitors, so I ask that commenters avoid vulgar language including oaths against religion. I also ask that you converse politely, even when pointing out an error or other miscommunication, or even when you think such has occurred. There’s no need for name-calling or severe chastisement. On that note, if someone makes a grammer mistake, I’d rather you not make this into a major world war. I do it purposely, and others do it thanks to automobile check…I mean automobile correct…I mean autocorrect. If it’s bad enough you don’t understand what’s being said, ask nicely what is meant..
Also, I consider the debate on two spaces after a period on the same line of religious and political debates and don’t want those types of debates here. No one wins and everyone gets annoyed. Except my cat, who likes reading the back-and-forth while munching on popcorn.
I’m not going to itemize cans and can-nots here. If I have to, I will. Understand that all comments are reviewed by me before being posted. If something isn’t right, I’ll ask you to rewrite it. Otherwise, I will delete the comment. I don’t have an AI Bot here to help me, so it’s all on me and I may not be able to immediately tell you why the post is deleted.
Speaking of AI, I have no problem with it other than it being over-rated by businesses. I’ve played with AI-produced text, images, and even application code, and found them entertaining but not intelligent. To quote Newton Crosby, “It just runs programs!” AI is simply an over-rated advanced search engine. So that said, if you post something generated by AI, please tag it as such, along with where you got it from
I hope this is good start that everyone understands. But, if not, I’ll amend it as needed. Otherwise, enjoy!
