A wedding looms and the fellow National Guard lady his father began dating last Christmas will soon become Sammy’s stepmother.  But, now, his Aunt Jennifer threatens the joyous occasion as she continues trying to convince her brother, future sister-in-law and nephew how wrong they are in accepting Christie’s gender.

That is, until a new patient, injured in an attack, is admitted to the surgical unit where Jennifer is a nurse.
